New Year, New Trends...

According to the Pantone Colour Institute – the international authority on all things colour - the 2014 colour of the year is Radiant Orchid. This colour is set to inspire and influence all creative outlets, in such things like fashion, art and beauty.

It will be interesting to see how this floral based colour will be incorporated into the weddings and events of 2014 so watch this space! J

Taken directly from the Pantone website: ‘An enchanting harmony of fucshia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health’ (http://blog.pantone.com/2013/12/pantone-color-of-the-year-2014-in-the-news/).

Currently I think the ones to keep an eye out for are succulents. Bring the outside in, in the form of a terrarium planted arrangement containing these brilliant plants. They make a wonderful gift or centrepiece and are certainly easy to care for! Succulents add interest to floral table centres and bridal bouquets too!

A particular speciality of The Flower Shop Watford and here are some they made earlier!…

Over and out for now,

Holly :)
