What does summer mean to
you? Do you have a favourite summer flower?... I know mine changes every week,
with every delivery! The variety of flowers available is amazing! It’s hard to
convey a flower's true beauty in the form of a photograph but for today’s blog I’d
thought I’d share a few recent pictures of the shop and it's contents – it really is looking lovely at the minute. Always
better to pop in tho! :)
A tour around the store… A
wonderful Delphinium and Alchemilla Mollis urn display!
Veronica, Roses, Hydrangea

So we’re into July already
(eek!) but if it’s OK I would like to share the last of June’s events. So take
a step back in time to last week where we were at The Grove Hotel for a couple
of functions and VIP guests! ;)
The middle of the week
required us to make 12 white and green cube arrangements for a 4 day function for Deutsche
Bank. For these, Roses, Agapanthus, Cymbidium Orchids and Eustoma were the
ideal components!
The weekend saw us designing
and creating wonderful arrangements for a special birthday dinner in The Grove’s
Potting Shed. The theme was Mexican! So the requirements were bold, vibrant and
fun for which we arranged 10 terracotta pot table centres interspersed with
hurricane lamps, acting as a runner along the dining table. The likes of cerise
Vanda Orchids, Anthuriums, Miss Piggy Roses and Celosia were perfect ingredients!
Woweee! I think it looks absolutely
gorgeous!
Talk about making an
entrance! A fabulous arrangement to welcome guests!... Magnif!
So what does July bring for
The Flower Shop…lots is the short answer! Alongside usual shop duties, this
week I can tell you we have 2 functions and a wedding as well as many
presentation gifts for the end of term at school!
Until next time,
Holly J
