We did it! Can you believe
it’s now a week on from Valentine’s Day and it's conclusive that there's a lot
of romance in Hertfordshire! Between both shops, we managed 500 deliveries! Woweee! A big THANK YOU to our
customers for coming to The Flower Shop for their special Valentine’s gift! I
hope everyone’s enjoying their flowers, plants and hearts!
With such a busy spell
coming to an end, the big clean up begins and there’s a lot on the agenda! Window
dressing, replenishing flowers, plants and containers, new themes, looking over wedding
proposals and not to mention Mother’s Day looming in the back of our minds!
~~~~~
But for now, I would like to
catch up on last week, just before the Valentine’s madness, we had a few
functions which I would love to share with you! So let’s begin with Monday…no
Monday morning blues for us at The Flower Shop as we started the week
brilliantly with bridal flowers! The bride requested lemon Roses and
Gypsophilia to make up her bridal posie and bridesmaid’s bouquets, so that’s
what we did, complete with hessian handles! Super
sweet! :)
Take a peek at this lovely
photo compilation shared with us by the very happy couple. Many thanks and all
our best wishes to you both for a happy and healthy future together!
Next up, we created these
beautiful table centres suitable for a young girls tea party in the
Donneraile Room at The Grove Hotel. A wonderful combination of Peonies, Viburnum,
Roses, Eustoma and Freesia make for a pretty and girly arrangement.
Wouldn’t you agree there is
a distinct feeling that Spring has sprung (well, for today it has!)?!... Spring
flowers not only make lovely gifts but can make stunning table arrangements. Colourful,
scented and lots of fun, 3 Spring arrangements work brilliantly along this
birthday table at St James’ Restaurant, Bushey.
Until next time,
Holly J
